I like the art style and the mechanic of being able to repair yourself with parts from the enemy.
What I would have liked was a higher rate of fire from both the robot and the enemies.
Was this a solo project? I see some of the animations were not implemented. Overall, it's quite good!
It was mostly a solo project, with some help of other people. I didnt have much time to do the animations, so it was lacking it. The fire rate of the player is supposed to increase when you buy upgrades, and the fire rates of the enemies are supposed to increase (didnt have time to implement that :S) Thanks for your comment!
I really like that currency is tied to health. So, the better you play, the better stuff you get. I don't think the healing is quite working? I couldn't get myself to heal.
You've laid it out sort of like a Zelda dungeon, but I think it might work better as a battle game that takes place in one room with enemies constantly spawning and you could open a menu to buy upgrades. (I don't know).
Thanks for the comment! If there is only one room, that would make the map always the same and lack variation. I am trying to make it a rougelike, but there isnt enough time for me to implement different bosses and enemies. Glad you enjoyed it!
